I'm convo friendly, so if you have any questions about anything in the shop or just want to say hi, do send me a message and I'll get back to you as soon as possible.

I'm located in a suburb not very far from where Alfred Nobel used to have his Dynamite factory, in the southern parts of Stockholm, Sweden.
The designs are made by me - Linda Gustafsson - with much care, in a smoke-free environment.

Inspiration comes from literature, comics & graphic novels, random organisms, music and noise, roller derby, children's picture books and the absolute calmness prior to sleep.

Knit and Roll - the name speaks for itself, doesn't it?

Please pay via Paypal. You DON'T have to register an account of your own at Paypal to make a payment.
All purchases must be paid for in full within 24 hours (unless other agreements has been confirmed by me). Otherwise I will assume you not intending to complete the transaction and I will then cancel the sale and relist the item.

**Don't be alarmed - any actions from me will be notified to you in advance. Sometimes things happen in life and I totally understand that. Should any sudden emergencies appear, don't hesitate to contact me. I'm sure we'll work something out.**

After you've purchased something from me I will send you a confirmation e-mail or a convo, to let you know when I'm shipping your item and/or other stuff regarding your order.

Shipping

I offer Fair Shipping, which in fact means you only pay the actual cost that the Swedish Post will charge me for sending something to you. No extra cost for handling and packing.

Of course, if you can meet me in person there's no shipping cost at all. Just tell me in advance if you want to go through with this alternative, I will then remove the shipping fee from the listing. Of course this possibility of no shipping is mostly used by my Swedish customers.

If you order several items of exceptional weight, there might be a bigger shipping cost.
Agreements regarding shipping costs will always be settled in advance. In other words: no unpleasant surprises!

I will ship the items to you as soon as payment's been cleared at my Paypal account, approx. within 3 business days.

I will always ship to the shipping address supplied by Etsy. If you want any other arrangements regarding shipping address, please let me know this at your purchase.
Shipping can take up to 14 days, depending on where in the world you are. I always ship First Class.

I sometimes recycle packing material, but these are always clean and in good shape. Items will always be well packed in plastic, safe from moisture and incautious post men. I recycle for the sake of environment.

However, if you want an item sent as a gift, perhaps to an other address than the one you've listed I GUARANTEE you the packing material is NEW. Would you like me to wrap the item's as gift, this can of course be arranged. Just tell me at your purchase.

Fraktkostnad inom Sverige följer Postens taxa.
Jag skickar varorna så fort jag fått betalningen för dem på mitt paypal-konto. Det tar maximalt två dagar från det att du beställt tills det att jag sänder ditt paket.

Eftersom mina varor ofta är små sänder jag dem som brev och ibland i återvunna vadderade kuvert. Detta för att spara på både miljö och pengar. Packmaterialet är dock alltid i god form. Likaså är varorna alltid nogrannt packade och skyddade från fukt och vårdslös posthantering.

Bor du i Stockholm och skulle vilja möta mig för att få dina varor, går detta också bra. Skriv detta i ett meddelande eller e-mail till mig så att jag kan dra av fraktkostnaden INNAN du betalar (Annars läggs fraktkostnaden till automatiskt).
Du betalar sedan via Paypal som vanligt, vi möts och du får dina varor.

Additional policies and FAQs

On custom orders:
Please try to be as specific as you can if you're about to order something custom made from me. Have you seen anything I've made before that you'd like to get - tell me. Send me (or share with me) pictures of stuff that resembles your ideas. Of course I will not make an exact copy of the item in the picture, but it gives me a good hint on what you'd like.

Would you like to have an item that's been listed as sold? No worries, just tell me and I can probably make the item once more.

Communication between me and you is super important regarding custom made items - so no questions are stupid nor annoying for me. It's my responsibility as a designer to ask you the right questions and it's your responsibility as a customer to make sure that I fully understand what you want. It's kind of like when I'm working at the library, I need to ask the right questions to be able to help the patron get what he/she wants/needs.

I will respond to your request as soon as I can. At this point I will also give you an idea of how much the requested item will cost and the estimated time it will take to make the item.

Försök vara så specifik du kan då du beställer något av mig. Har du sett något som jag gjort tidigare - tala om det.
Maila mig gärna bilder som påminner om vad du vill ha. Jag kommer inte att göra en exakt kopia, men det ger mig i alla fall en bra bild av vad du önskar.

Har du i butiken sett någon vara som är listad som såld? Tala om vilken, så kan jag med stor säkerhet återskapa den en gång till.

Kommunikationen mellan mig och dig är ytterst viktig gällande dessa ordrar. Inga frågor från dig är för dumma eller oviktiga för mig.
Det är mitt ansvar att fråga dig rätt frågor om vad du önskar, men det är ditt ansvar att tala om och se till att jag förstår vad det är för något du vill ha.
